Request for Grant Funding

The Arizona Correctional Educators, Inc. (ACE) is a (501c3) nonprofit membership organization. The mission is to advocate for excellence in correctional education by providing high quality services and resources for our members. Membership is open to anyone interested in correctional education or related fields.

ACE is accepting proposals to assist with funding for professional development activities (workshops and seminars on specific topics) designed to improve the quality of educational and transitional services and supports for students involved in the juvenile and criminal justice systems.  Grants are designed to help an organization improve their employee’s skills.

ACE is offering several grants up to $1,000 per year. Grants will be awarded to those applicants that most persuasively outline the need for additional supports for professional development that improves the quality of educational and transitional services and supports for students in the juvenile and criminal justice systems.

All professional development activities must be aimed at having as broad an impact as possible, with the goal of obtaining systemic impact on either the local, regional or state level. ACE will offer technical assistance in developing/selecting professional development activities for grantees.

Applicants for the grant must include a member of ACE and have the organizational capacity to facilitate the proposed professional development and directly impact correctional education.
